With an inherent and sincere passion for the art of beauty, Miriam founded Mj-C Artistry through her devotion of helping people strengthen their self image by sharing her fashion & beauty know-how.
Born in Malawi Africa, she began her travels to the United States to attain her degree in higher education and Cosmetology. Shortly after attaining her Masters in Cosmetology in 2010, she moved to New York City and has since been working eagerly from the ground up towards launching her career within the hair & makeup industry.
Once settling in New York City, she started working with models, actors and photographers all over the tri-state and is quickly building a resume and reputation as one of the most talented & down-to-earth hair & makeup artists in NYC.
More importantly, she has become well known by her clientele for uniquely creating a style palate of innovative “out the box” artistry with the most classic, sought out styles.
