We are honored to have The African Services Committee at the Street Festival on 7/16/2016.
ASC  will be conducting free, confidential health screening testing (HIV, hepatitis B & C, blood glucose, etc.) at the festival on 7/16/2016

Founded in 1981 by an Ethiopian refugee, ASC is a service and advocacy organization based in Harlem, New York. Dedicated to improving the quality of life and self-sufficiency of African immigrant communities in New York, ASC operates a comprehensive community care program serving more than 10,000 people annually. Its client base includes African Diaspora immigrants affected by war, poverty, global health disparities, political oppression, and social persecution based on sexual orientation or HIV status. The organization has also grown to address the devastating impact of the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Ethiopia through direct service, prevention education and treatment advocacy.
