Go Africa Harlem Street Festival 2018!
Date: July 14th, 2018
Location: ( The Street Festival: 116th Street between 7th Ave. and 8th Ave, Harlem, New York City )
The Go Africa Network Inc. (a 501(C)(3) non-profit focusing on Development, Culture, Education and trade initiatives for Africa) in conjunction with in conjunction with Go Africa LLC, Go Africa Health, LLC, Go Caribbean Inc, Go Africa News, LLC, Go Africa Capital Inc., The NYS African Chamber of Commerce & The African Union Expo, LLC. is hosting a 1 day street festival within the boundaries of Adam Clayton Powell Boulevard (7th Avenue) and Frederick Douglass Boulevard (8th Avenue) on 116 street on July 14th 2018 between the hours of 10am – 6pm.
This program is supported, in part by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council.

Parameters and Scope
The Street festival among other things be a celebration of the city’s African diversity with excellent displays of the unique goods and services provided by African & Caribbean merchants on 116th street and throughout the NYC metro area.
There will be two (2) stages showcasing dance, art, music and dress from various regions throughout Africa and the Caribbean with direct participation from the African community & Cultural groups, consulates and embassies from the city’s five boroughs and NY Region.
Event Location, Time, and Duration
The street festival will take within the boundaries of Adam Clayton Powell Boulevard (7th Avenue) and Frederick Douglass Boulevard (Eighth Avenue) on 116 street on July 14th in the year 2018 between the hours of 10am – 6pm.
Benefits
The Street festival is designed to promote socio-economic development, cultural awareness in the community and throughout the City of New York for the African and Caribbean local and diaspora communities, African-American, and the local community.
Music and related Festivities
There will be two (2) stages showcasing dance, art, music and dress from various regions throughout Africa and the Caribbean will be hosted by the incomparable Sekouba Diakite, Senior Artistic Director, Go Africa Network Inc and his ensemble of Talented African & Caribbean Artists from throughout Africa and the U.S.

We are proud to present the Go Africa Master Chefs for the street festival on 7/14 & 7/15/2018!
The Go Africa Master Chefs will be on 8 grills cooking up African, Caribbean, and American specialties for the duration of the street festival.
The Go Africa Master Chefs will be cooking it up in addition to the other featured food merchants at the street Festival to increase your food choices and eating pleasures.
There will be no cooking contests, samplings, tastings, etc. Just cooking for your eating pleasure and enjoyment.
